Seeking Expressive Arts Group Facilitators and Assistants

Do you live in the Los Angeles Area? Interested in working with veterans in transitional housing and/or with transitional-aged youth experiencing homelessness?

Supplies, curriculum materials, and training in trauma-informed care will be provided for all facilitators. Facilitators may also be provided additional training in facilitating open art studio groups.

about cmp:

The Creative Minds Project (CMP) is a program of Arts & Healing Initiative. We integrate the innate social-emotional benefits of the arts with mental health practices at local community agencies in West Los Angeles that serve transitional-aged youth, adults and veterans living homeless.

This sustainable program is typically served by volunteers who are creative arts therapists or mental health professionals with experience integrating the arts, graduate students in the creative arts therapies, expressive artists with social emotional arts training from Arts & Healing Initiative, and UCLA students.
