Instructor Bio

Judith Pinkerton, LPMT, MT-BC, is a music therapy clinician and internship director, author, TEDx speaker, recording artist, online educator, and published researcher. She has presented at many national conferences. and was the first practitioner in the United States to receive a music therapy license. A Lifting Lives Honor recipient, with over twenty years of experience helping individuals from womb to tomb, she has treated more than 11,000 patients in residential addiction treatment centers.

Judith is the innovator of the evidence-based practice of the Music4Life® Music Medicine Protocol as well as the author of the music therapy-informed Key2MEE® music app with the Amazon companion book, Thriving Through Adversity: Prescriptive Playlists to Reclaim Joy, Peace and Purpose in Life. Launched in 2024, Key2MEE® is for mental health providers, educators, parents, caregivers, and anyone interested in addressing how music can be used as an emotional well-being tool.
