In this experiential, online session, we’ll be guided through a simple, step-by-step process of creating an Emotional Care Kit. A first-aid kit for our feelings, this mental-wellness tool combines several creative-arts healing modalities that can then be used immediately upon experiencing triggers, low moments, and/or emotional dysregulation, and help remind us of the love and goodness in our lives.

Instructor Bio
Kate Burns is a poet, published author, and creative arts healing workshop facilitator. She is the creator of the "Emotional Care Kit," a tool that combines several creative-arts healing modalities to provide on-demand help for individuals struggling with depression, self-harm, suicidal ideation, anxiety, and low self-esteem. Materials - What to Bring
- Box (any material and size will work, although the box must be large enough to fit envelopes, additional paper items, and photographs inside)
- 7 - 12 envelopes
- Drawing and/or painting supplies
- Magazines and/or patterned paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Stickers (if desired)
- Writing utensil (pen or pencil)
