Embark on a journey of self-discovery and personal growth in this free, four-part workshop that weaves personal narrative with collage making to enhance creativity and insight. Through the use of Guided Autobiography, a structured writing process, and SoulCollage®, an intuitive arts practice, we’ll write and reflect on our life experiences to connect to our inner wisdom, gain clarity, and discover deeper self-understanding.
Although we encourage registration for all four online, experiential sessions of this workshop, attendance at all four is not required.

Instructor Bio
Kimberly Lee, JD, is a versatile writer, editor, creativity coach, and facilitator with a passion for nurturing the imaginative spirit and helping others reveal their own inner wisdom. A graduate of Stanford University and UC Davis School of Law, she is a certified Guided Autobiography instructor and an authorized SoulCollage® facilitator. She has also completed training with The Center for Journal Therapy, The Center for Intentional Creativity, The Path Meditation, and serves on the board of Amherst Writers and Artists. A teaching artist with Hugo House, The Writing Salon, Women On Writing, and The Loft Literary Center, Kimberly has led workshops at numerous retreats and conferences, including Arts & Healing Initiative, the Omega Institute, the Expressive Therapies Summit, the Transformative Language Arts Network, and Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center. Her stories and essays have appeared in numerous publications and anthologies, including LA Parent, Words and Whispers, Toyon, Minerva Rising, The Ekphrastic Review, I Am Woman: Expressions of Black Womanhood in America, and on the Better Sleep app. Kimberly trusts in the magic of miracles and synchronicity and believes that everyone is creative. Materials - What to Bring
Materials:
Prior to each session, we’ll email you a pdf handout of questions on the workshop’s theme. These questions will offer ways of thinking about your life in relation to the theme—jogging your memory and helping you to prepare to write.
What to Bring:
- Prior to each session, we’ll email you suggestions of the types of images to bring, related to the theme. Images may come from magazines, photographs, or other sources.
- 5x8 cardstock or cardboard base for the collage (or simply fold an 8x11 piece of paper in half)
- Glue stick
- Scissors (if not available, images can be torn)
- Writing materials
