description:
Decrease self-judgment and build resilience in this experiential workshop taking a social emotional arts approach to visual arts techniques. We’ll engage in guided exercises—from observational and blind-contour drawing to self portraits—that reveal how self-criticism arises, how it can be softened with awareness, and how the creative process itself can become a rehearsal for responding to ourselves with acceptance, insight, and kindness.
Open to all—no previous artistic experience is necessary.
