Sam Tidwell
description:
Decrease self-judgment and build resilience in this experiential workshop taking a social emotional arts approach to visual arts techniques. We’ll engage in guided, reflective exercises—from observational and blind-contour drawing to self-portraits—that reveal how self-criticism arises, how it can be softened with awareness, and how the creative process itself can become a rehearsal for responding to ourselves with acceptance, insight, and kindness.
Open to all—no previous artistic experience is necessary.
Sound familiar? Initially offered in November 2025—we invite you to join us for a second run of this popular HOPE Series session!
