description:

Inspired by the current exhibition We Live in Painting at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), join us for an exploration of color and form through the meditative practice of watercolor painting. This online workshop takes us through a grounding experience and offers space to slow down—fostering mindfulness, creativity, and resilience.

No prior watercolor painting experience is necessary; the emphasis is on process and personal exploration. This online workshop is co-presented with LACMA. We Live in Painting: The Nature of Color in Mesoamerican Art, is on exhibit at LACMA until September 1, 2025. A prior visit to the current exhibition is not necessary to participate; select images will be shared during the workshop.
