description:
Chronic or recurring pain can silence our creativity and disconnect us from our body. This gentle and empowering online session offers a restorative space to learn simple tools to support emotional regulation, increase self-awareness, and cultivate a more compassionate relationship with our pain.
Together, we’ll slow down and tune into our body’s wisdom through guided breathwork, grounding techniques, and gentle movement before exploring oil pastels and watercolors to give form and color to our internal experiences—creating expressive images that reflect both the challenges and strengths within.
Open to all, including caregivers of those living with chronic pain—and no previous artistic experience is required. Offered in partnership with Creative Healing for Youth in Pain (CHYP) in support of Pain Awareness Month.
